Röyk is a Swedish outdoor brand, founded in 2010, and is a frontrunner in the outdoor industry, dedicated to promoting multi-functionality and environmentally conscious practices. The brand’s name “Röyk” refers to an expression “röjåk” used by Swedish ski bums in the French Alps in the early 2000s. Röyk believes that the most sustainable way to consume fashion is to extend the lifespan of your clothing.

Röyk only uses sustainable materials, such as wool and recycled polyester as well as upcycled or even compostable materials. In cases when virgin materials are used, Röyk make sure they are certified and sustainably made. Both the merino wool and the Swedish wool are 100% mulesing-free. Röyk’s factories and products have certificates such as OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and 101, GOTS (Global Organic Cotton Standard), GSR (Global Recycled Standard), ISO (90001, 140001, and 50001), Fair Trade, RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) and Woolmark.
