RESALE TERMS & ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

How the gift card compensation works

We compensate your items as a gift card from the Ninyes partner brand you choose. You will receive the gift card directly from the brand as soon as we have inspected your items.

The value of the gift card is based on the secondhand value of the items you send and that are accepted:

  • When the secondhand value of an item is 10–80 € → you receive 60%
  • When the secondhand value of an item exceeds 80 € → you receive more; 80% of the portion that exceeds 80 €

You don’t need to wait for a buyer. Once your items have been processed, we send the gift card — usually within about two weeks. A handling fee of 2.80 € per item, as well as any applicable shipping costs, will be deducted from the gift card value.

Choosing your gift card

You can also choose a Ninyes gift card or a Stockmann gift card. When selecting a Stockmann gift card, the compensation is always 50% of the item’s secondhand value.

If you choose gift cards for multiple brands, the value will be split evenly between them.

If you send your items from Sweden, Denmark, or Poland, the gift card value may be converted into your local currency according to the brand’s policy.

Approving and receiving your gift card

Once we have received and processed your items, you will receive an email with the valuation of your items.

You then have three days to approve the offered gift card amount. After approval, the gift card will be sent to you by the brand you selected.

Gift cards are valid for 6–36 months depending on the brand. You can check the exact validity period on the brand’s own resale pages or in our FAQ.

How the compensation amount is determined

You can browse the Ninyes online selection and pricing to get an idea of what your items may be worth.

The compensation you receive depends on the condition of your used items as well as seasonality and relevance.

Stockmann Gift Card

When selling children’s clothing, you can also choose a Stockmann gift card.
In this case, the compensation is 50% of the estimated secondhand selling price.
A Stockmann gift card can only be selected when selling children’s clothing, and it cannot be split between multiple brands.

The Stockmann gift card can only be collected from Stockmann’s Customer Service at the Helsinki city centre department store.
You will receive collection instructions by email.

The Stockmann gift card can be used in Stockmann department stores like a regular Stockmann gift card. Please note that it cannot be used in the online store.

1. Fill in the resale form.

2. Pack your items carefully in a cardboard box, parcel or mailing bag. Include a note titled “Ninyes Resale Shipment” with your name, phone number and email address.

3. Send your package via PostNord or Matkahuolto, or bring it to one of our return points. Please follow the shipping instructions for your chosen delivery method below.

PostNord

  • You will receive a link to the PostNord portal by email. Create the shipment in the portal and you’ll receive an 8-digit shipment code. After creating the shipment, you’ll see your nearest PostNord service points.
  • Take the package to a PostNord service point. Please keep your receipt or email confirmation

Matkahuolto

  • Write the return code 9545051 on the package, along with the recipient details: Ninyes Oy, Dosentintie 7D, 00330 Helsinki
  • Take the package to a Matkahuolto service point. Please keep your receipt. You can find your nearest service point via their locator.

4. You will receive an email when we have received your items. Processing time is approx. 2 weeks.

5. Once the items are processed, we will email you the value of your voucher. You have 3 days to accept or decline the proposal. If you do not reply, the voucher will be automatically accepted.

6. Your selected brand will send the voucher to you by email once you have accepted the voucher value.

  2. You will receive a link to the PostNord portal by email.
  3. Create the shipment in the portal and you will receive a QR code for your shipment. After creating the shipment, you will see your nearest PostNord service points.
  4. Pack the items carefully in a cardboard box, postal package or shipping bag. Include a note with the heading “Ninyes Resale shipment” and your name, phone number and email address.
  5. Take your package to a PostNord service point.
  6. You will receive an email once we have received your items. The processing time is approximately 2 weeks.
  7. Once the items have been processed, we will email you the value of the gift card. You have 3 days to accept or reject the offer. If you do not respond, the gift card will be automatically accepted.
  8. The selected brand will send you the gift card by email once you have accepted the gift card value.

  2. You will receive a link to the DHL shipping portal by email.
  3. Create your shipment in the portal and print the shipping label.
  4. Pack the clothes tightly into any appropriately sized cardboard box, parcel, or shipping bag you have available. Include a note inside the package with the title "Ninyes Resale Shipment" and your name, phone number, and email address.
  5. Attach the shipping label to the outside of the package.
  6. Drop off the package at a DHL ServicePoint. You can find the nearest location through the DHL portal or the link sent to your email. If you don’t have access to a printer, look for a DHL ServicePoint that offers printing services.
  7. You will receive an email when we have received your items. Processing time is approx. 2 weeks.
  8. Once the items are processed, we will email you the value of your voucher. You have 3 days to accept or decline the proposal. If you do not reply, the voucher will be automatically accepted.
  9. Your selected brand will send the voucher to you by email once you have accepted the voucher value.

You can sell your items to us from most EU countries.
 Accepted countries:

Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Portugal, Poland, France, Estonia.

  1. Fill in the resale form.
  2. You will receive a prepaid UPS shipping label by email, along with a link to UPS service points.
  3. Pack your items carefully in a cardboard box, parcel or mailing bag. Include a note titled “Ninyes Resale Shipment” with your name, phone number and email address.
  4. Print and attach the label to the parcel, then take the package to a UPS Access Point.
 You may also use the UPS Print-in-shop service to print the label at selected locations with Accepts Mobile Barcodes functionality.
  5. You will receive an email once your items have been received. Processing time is approx. 2 weeks.
  6. After processing, we will email you the value of your voucher. You have 3 days to accept or decline the proposal. If no response is received, the voucher will be automatically accepted.
  7. Your selected brand will send the voucher to you by email once you have accepted the voucher value.
We pay the shipping costs upfront to make the process as easy as possible. A shipping fee of €3.90 will be deducted from your voucher if your package is sent from Finland, Sweden, Denmark, or Germany, and €5.90 for shipments from other EU countries. Shipping is free of charge if you drop off your items at a Ninyes location or one of our partner return points.

The Ninyes Resale program is available in the following countries

Packing and sending

Please pack your items carefully in a durable mailing bag or box – we are not responsible for items lost or damaged during shipping. Include your name and phone number, and make sure to fill out the Resale Form in advance. If you have a campaign code, only one code can be used per shipment. This also applies when dropping off items in person – they must be packed and the form submitted beforehand.

Compensation value and gift card

Once we’ve received and processed your items, you’ll receive an email with the estimated voucher value. If we don’t hear from you within 3 days of sending the email, the value will be automatically accepted. The voucher will be sent to the email address you provided in the Resale Form and is valid for a minimum of 6 months.

Acceptance and validity of the compensation offer

Contact details and responsibilities

Providing valid contact details is essential. We require at least your name, phone number, and email address. Ninyes and its partners are not responsible for any issues or costs resulting from incorrect or missing contact information, failure to read or respond to our messages. We do not process or compensate for shipments lacking the sender’s name and contact details. We only process shipments where the Resale Form has been completed and the terms accepted. After completing the resale form, please send your items within three (3) months from the date of submission.

Assessment of saleability

Our goal is to give every item a second life. However, Ninyes reserves the right to unilaterally determine whether an item meets our quality standards and is eligible for resale. If not, the customer can: – Have the items returned for a shipping fee of €6.90 (Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany) or €8.90 (other EU countries) – Pick up the rejected items for free from our office: Dosentintie 7D, 00330 Helsinki

Product returns and delivery costs

If the customer declines the proposed gift card offer and wishes to have the items returned instead, the same shipping fees apply (€6.90 within Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany; €8.90 to other EU countries).

Alternatively, you may choose to have the rejected items donated to charity or sent for textile recycling at no cost. Maternity box clothing will automatically be donated to charity.

Lost Resale shipment

If your Resale shipment is lost during delivery, we will first try to locate it together with the carrier.

You can file a claim for a lost Resale shipment if the package has not arrived within 30 days from the estimated arrival date, and the carrier is unable to locate the parcel or provide a new delivery estimate. To process the claim, we require a receipt or digital proof showing that the package was handed over and registered with the carrier.

These same terms also apply to shipments left at Ninyes drop-off points. We will compensate the lost Resale shipment at a rate of €10 per item, up to a maximum of €50 per shipment, issued as a Ninyes gift card. If you need help or wish to submit a claim, please contact our customer service at:

Campaign terms

Campaigns are valid for a limited time. To receive the campaign benefit, the Resale Form must be completed during the campaign period and the items shipped within 10 days after the campaign ends.
